The LCD screen is backlit in blue, for an easy read in low light conditions, and the fully water resistant scales give you the choice of weighing in lbs or kgs, as well as including a handy 1m tape measure, so you can get a complete picture of your catch. There’s a thermometer function, too, which gives you important information if you keep a fishing diary; are there temperatures in which certain baits catch bigger fish, or simply temperatures in which bigger fish will be caught on anything?
